When I purchased my Grill Craft, it came with 4 self tapping screws, that's it... that's all you need. Prior to install, you will need to remove the innards of your grill with a sawzall or hacksaw.

I'm sure there is a very simple answer to this that I'm just missing, but here goes...

My hood latch is only accessible by reaching through the grill. With a mesh grill, how do you open the hood? :anonymous:

Once you pop open the hood you'll be able to finger your way to same the latch that way. I had the exact same question.

The kit I got came with a latch extension. When you release the hood, it opens up the gap big enough between the grill and hood that you can reach the extension.

    Can see the extension here.

I did this. The Redline Tuning hood struts help in that the hood pops up against the latch exposing this tab I added.

I just think everything before 01-04 is a little small and cramped. Stock at least. Some people have made them look a lot better on here.

It comes with the mesh pre cut. Comes with some mounts I didn't use and zip ties which I did end up using to keep the mesh firm. It also comes with the lettering. I'd assume that it's a little more expensive because of the letters but idk much about grill craft.

I see so many of my exact truck trim its unreal. I am a bit different with the bed liner'd lower bumper, trd badge, and Van Halen plate :burnrubber:

I didn't notice it but damn I love that Van Halen plate. Theyre on the radio in my truck all of the time. But yeah the chrome trim is common I see at least 1 or 2 day on the way to or from school. And it's only about a 5-10 minute drive...

Personally I like the chrome over color matched because most cars have no chrome anymore. Made the plate myself and just ziptied it on lol

I like the chrome front but sometimes wish I had color matched fenders. Makes the truck look a little cleaner to me.

I've never really understood the big deal but usually cover it in a clever way with a flare of light of something

Made a fun little day project out of my grille. Sawzawwed the inner, Color matched the grille surround as I'm not a big fan of the chrome, it looks cheesy to me but hey, we all have our preferences. and then last but not least, added in the billet. (I have since blacked out behind the tube bumper)
