What would you go with I know a lot of them are a joke from what I have heard. Don't hear a knock as of know.

 

I think you'll be fine as long as you stay outta the boost (no wot) this tank. Throw an octane booster in for good measure..it won't hurt

 

Lucas oil or VP Racing. Primarily VP Racing. It is only a few hundred miles that you have to stay out of boost. It will pass quickly enough.

Lol......same thing happened to me last week with a guy in a civic that was not so stock. I believe he kinda under estimated my truck with 33's and that weird whine coming from under the hood.

 

A Hemi.

 

Just broke some dudes neck that was driving a ricer with a huge body kit on it and his 'stance' looked like 4 broken axles lol. Drove by, saw him and couldn't resist gunning it for a second to get some whine going and watched his eyes get wide and his head whipped around so fast he must have whiplash. Ahhhhh the little things lol

 

Any opinions on water/meth systems? I live in South Florida and feel heat soak issues on both the truck and my turbo car

 

Uhhhh who installed that water meth kit recently, I forget. I'm on the fence about it while wsiting for plug and play tuners *cough ucon cough @Gadget@URD cough 2015 cough*

My truck is beyond night and day difference between early morning and middle of the day. The heat down here is brutal and kills my power

 

Went to change out the oil in the nosecone last night and couldn't suck any out, it was practically dry Got a whole 4oz bottle of the ACDelco supercharger oil in. 30k miles on it. Check your oil


Also, my motor is pinging again like crazy on the freeway. Got it to go away earlier this summer when I swapped in colder plugs (IK20) but it's starting to ping again like it was before, 5k miles later. Any suggestions? I know I need to get the 7th injector kit eventually

 

Top line, sounds like a personal problem, OR TWSS.

What about upgrading your fuel pump. Couple $100 less then the 7th injector kit.

 

To follow up with what Springs719 asked, have you upgraded your fuel pump? Especially considering the age of yours.

When is the last time that you changed the fuel filter?

Since your S/C doesn't come with an aftercooler, a meth kit would also be extremely beneficial.

 

No fuel pump upgrade, but I've been eyeballing that along with the 7th injector URD kit. Just don't have the funds at the moment unfortunately.

Replaced the fuel filter when I first got the truck, it's got maybe 10k miles on it. It's just weird that the pinging almost entirely went away with the new iridium plugs I got, but roughly 5k miles later it's back with a vengeance. Like the plugs have already gone bad or something.

Some times it's worse than others but it's definitely most apparent in high gear/low rpm conditions, like giving it throttle in 5th gear on the freeway going 65mph...don't really want to drop it into 4th going that fast but I guess maybe I should if I have to.

 

Check your plugs? Maybe something is fouling your plugs

 

I'm new to this forum, but not to supercharger. Maybe I can help.

Check your bypass valve to make sure it's functioning. There's a rubber diaphragm in there that will go back eventually (I don't know how old your kit is, but it's worth a shot). When the bypass valve goes bad the blower can not move any air around the rotors so you're compressing air (raising the temp) at part throttle and causing knock.
