What ramps do you guys use in the garage? Looking for a set. I don't see anything interesting on Amazon.

I was just looking at that at Home Depot. Is that the one with 700 ft # of torque?

Yes. Preliminary test with a 1/2" grade 8 bolt and nut mounted in vise shows around 150 ft lbs according to my torque wrench(old fashioned type). Also with a 4 ah battery. My 5 ah are at work

I have some plastic ones from advance auto. Ive had them for years. Not sure on the weight rating, but probably too low for my truck

Yes, plastic is the only way to go. I know the ramps you are talking about. I remember my father had them..although I'm not that young.

That would work. If I had a jacking point. And a Hi lift..

For the rear I use the hitch... chock the front wheels and just jack up the truck... ive since become confortable with the hi lift after the rausch toyota takeover using it to work on one of the trucks.

Actually never thought of that. If only I could change my oil from the rear though...:) Oh well, at least I have an excuse to buy a Hi Lift.

FYI if you guys have a pep boys in your area they are all doing away with the speed shops. All of the 4x4 stuff is being discontinued. If you find something in there you want, find the store manager and make an offer. I will guarantee they will sell it for damn near anything. You didn't hear it from me.

Hi lift and accessories, LED lights bars and round lights, recovery straps, I don't know if they were blowing out the MT tires but they may be. I don't remember what else there was..but it was a lot.
