Disc brakes on the front, drum brakes on the rear on my 07! Wondering how simple or complicated it is to replace the drum brakes? Do it myself or let my mechanic do them?

Easy. Take the drum off, then take a picture. Then take off the springs, and shoes. Clean. Install in reverse order, using a new spring kit and new shoes. Install drum and set the cylinders so that there is a little drag on the drum.

drums should last 150k+... It's very meaty... If it needs replaced, then get something good from rockauto or just get oem again. Follow ericthecarguy's old video on drum brakes as reference.

its pretty easy, also the chilton guide or whatever they are called now you buy at autozone, has good instructions. im at about 150,000 miles, i took axle apart to change bearings about 2 weeks ago and mine are still in good shape. you sure they need to be changed? maybe just need adjustment.
