    I'm all for not being a dick, but people need to have a little resilience too. Or in this case, just some self-awareness. I love how it's totally fine to invalidate someone's opinion, and to tell someone to stop expressing it as if that's a perfectly acceptable thing to ask in an adult discussion.

    I swear..... the media pisses me off too. How they *tell* and/or present the news only fuels the fires and makes things worse. They flavor it however they want.

    I just can't imagine this world getting any worse...but, I guess it could.

    It's too bad...the people who *have a brain and thicker skin* are the ones this world needs to make things improve. But, none of us wanna get involved in the BS. We're too busy enjoying our own little worlds afar....

    Yes I do. More weather related though. I am quality control and lead formulator at an asphalt emulsion plant. Also this season has been extra busy as I'm running the plant/ laboratory due to my bosses cancer returning. F$@& cancer!

    I work for a private contractor, and we mainly do government work so I know all too well about the fiscal year. Basically June-October is swamped. Tomorrow is the deadline for them to award us any contracts so this week has been a "twiddle our thumbs and wait for emails" kind of week.
