So here's another purpose of the tabs. I'll be running some airlines and waterproof switches. One of the things about this bumper is how you can't open the swing gates with one hand. Even with 2 it's not easy under the 35" tire, so I thought how can I get the pins that lock the gates to open up automatically? My first thought was to use solenoids, but I could not find ones that were water proof and they tended to be really large.

I have onboard air so I thought maybe a small air cylinder could work. I ordered two and the size was surprisingly small! These little guys can pull 15lbs, more than enough to move a locking pin.

The threads didn't exactly match up so I had to machine some adapters. They are SS so no rust issues either. Really excited to see these work.

    The tough spot.

Upon suggestion and guidance from the grand master @Bentrodder I blended the corners of my Allpro bumper. Looks much better!

The bumper is off to powder coat now! I can't wait to finally mount it.

So in kind of a spur of the moment deal I decided to do a big brake upgrade. I was not happy with my current setup and I got a great deal on some StopTech ST60's.

The first step was to upgrade the wheels. I ended up replacing my black 16x8, 3.5BS F5's with 315/75/16 Duratacs with grey 17x8.5 F5's with 315/70/17 BFG KO2's.

Just yesterday I got around to installing the brakes. After breaking them in, all I can say is wow, this is what I wanted out of my stock brakes. Lots of power, but very well balanced and good modulation with the stock system. I am able to come to an aggressive stop and the ABS doesn't kick in. Super happy with these!

There's a current group buy going on these right now.

They won't fit over 16" wheels will they?

No, believe me I tried. The rotor is big and leaves very little room for the caliper.

I was waiting to get some better ones, but here's one showing how much space the calipers take.

    Hi Iggy !

Stumbled across your build... Love the access cab, looks great! Random question: Do you fit a carseat in the back seats?
