Feeler/Interest gauge for 12-15 blackout interior parts

05-11 wheels are completely different from 2012+. 2012+ wheels are all the same, however black 2014+ wheel controls on a 2012 or 2013 will not illuminate at night without an added ground wire.

 

The only ones I'm aware of come out of a base model truck. I'm not 100% sure what exactly the part number is for just black controls. Last I looked the black 12-13 controls were like $300 and the regular silver ones were like 100 something which didn't make much sense in the Toyota catalogue. If I was you I'd either check a salvage yard or just paint your current ones.

You can try eBay but I've never seen a set of black ones pop up.

 

Makes me really curious because the functions are still on the same side the layout is just slightly different

 

We need something like this for 2005-2011 tacos. I would love to get rid of the silver.

Does your 4wd switch light dim using the dimmer switch or is it just either on or off? Usually the variable ground on the dimming circuit is a green wire with a white tracer.

 

It's either on or off with the other dash lights.

Got mine. Went with my vendor last minute since I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to swap everything or not haha.

Is the radio bezel surround worth getting? Only reason why I didn't get it is b/c the surround for the a/c controls is gloss.

I got the radio bezel because I wanted a matte black surround versus a glossy black surround.

 

Does that Tundra switch light up? What does it take to make it work? Part number?

 

Is that switch a direct fit and does it light up?

 

The AC control bezel is gloss but given the set back position the finish is more or less unnoticeable. I got the matte radio bezel because it matches the vent bezel. I don't think either would look bad, but the matte finish all the way looks pretty sweet.

 

The AC Vent piece is NOT gloss. Ive shipped out over 15 of them last month, all of these pices Ive been providing are flat/Satin black.

 

Yes sir, it does light up. Lights up amber though, but I am planning to swap those led's out for pure white so it matches everything else.

Wired it up the same way as that lighted 4x4 switch mod. I think someone posted that link.

It's a direct fit, aligns with the notches like the stock 4X4 switch, but since it's made for a Tudra it doesn't sit flush. I've already got the same switch currently on my truck(gun metal/gray looking switch). I had to slightly(nothing big) trim the opening where the switch sits to get it to sit flush.
