Because ECGS = good deal?

 

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you will get a better deal, with less hassle, through ECGS. Their shipping was cheap to and from Hawaii. I would think it would be even cheaper CONUS.

 

Finding a shop that would do it in my neck of the woods is tough. Finding a shop that I trust to do it is equivalent to finding a 6 legged unicorn. I wish I could install the arb myself. I still might go that route

 

As in ECGS will send you a shipping label to ship your diff to them, then they will install the locker and mail it back.

 

What would the downtime be? Estimated of course. Time from me shipping it to getting it back

I had them build my diffs and shipped to Hawaii. It was roughly 5 working days from time of order to receiving. I installed the diffs and mailed the cores back to them in the boxes it came in, using the return shipping label they provided.
You need to factor in the shipping time it takes for you to mail them your diff.

 

You will save a little bit from sending them your diff and not doing the core charge, but I didn't want my truck down for that long so I chose to have them build it first and pay the core charge. I also didn't need to worry about shipping because ECGS took care of it "to and from". Get a shipping quote because ECGS's price for shipping might be a lot better than you can get.
