Look on the bright side: now you have some nice curtains over the windows to keep the interior cool on warm days!

Signaling the impact sensors would require some sort of impact I assume? And no not both are locked. Just my driver. It was just myself and my dog at the time of the incident-- she was in the back cab though.
So the passanger airbag deployed but the seat belt didn't lock are you saying it should have done neither or both?

Insurance just passed the buck to get me to deal with yota, They told me not to drive it don't get me wrong. Toyota paid for a rental until the guy came out to inspect the box. Haven't heard from them since.

Have you heard anything from Toyota yet or worked out your airbag situation? About a month ago, all my airbags went off when I hit a washed out area on a gravel road. Toyota is coming to pull the data from my EDR in two weeks and inspect the truck. Hopefully they figure out what happened.

Similar thing just happened to me a few weeks ago. I was driving on a straight level highway road pulling out of a restaurant, at about 25 mph when my drive line busted at the flange yolk and U-joint connection causing the driveline to hit the undercarriage hard enough to deploy the passenger side curtain airbags. Hoping for a reason that they would go off; insurance is looking at my truck now.
