Whew!!! I was a little worried that a game 3 was going to be needed.

Glad to see Canada take it. But yeah......fugly trophy.

 

As much as I am not a fan of Canada, at all, I will give credit where it is due. They are solid. A machine in international play right now. I do think with the right team USA could at least make it interesting, but not the team they put together for this WC. The last 2 Olympics were good, as was the recent World Juniors...Anyways, Sid is the man. He just wins at everything. I know I have Pittsburgh bias but it's still tough to argue. Also, Price was as advertised, yet again. But I'm over that tourney already, so hopefully we get some good NHL chat going here soon.

No doubt it would have been a much better tournament if the US were more competitive and no doubt Crosby was the MVP.
