Hey guys has anyone put racing style buckets in their Tacoma? I can't stress enough how much I hate the bench in my standard cab. Was hoping I could get some insight. Was hoping to get some cheap ones. Maybe like 300 for the pair

    Maybe these?

Kind of all ready bought new gears, rebuild kit, and coil overs sooo funds are low for the truck at the moment

I have reclining corbeau's in my truck. I got a really good deal on them, but I'm not very impressed with them, upholstery wise they feel decent, but mechanically they feel cheap. I wouldn't do any cheaper than corbeau's I've yet to see a cheaper set of seats hold up very well. Eventually I'll make the swap to prp's or beard's. I always have had fixed seats in my track cars (bride, recaro, sparco) I prefer them but thought I'd try reclining seats for the truck.

I've seen multiple sets of corbeau recliners that rattle. I can't stand rattles. Mine don't rattle but the mechanisms definetly feel like they will eventually rattle. I'm may try another set of reckon able buckets but I'm leaning towards rx-t1's

I was thinking I could throw a set of covers over um...honestly at this point a year without my bench is worth it in back pain

Ok cool, consider this my first "bug"

I always joke with my gf that Im gonna buy her a sick SLR or something and a tri-pod and force her to climb the trail recording as I drive by. haha

Honestly she is a pretty good sport and indulges my off roading nerdiness.

You can tell by her response here as I backed down a steep azz hill covered in tailings at Reward mine, by Lone Pine hah Course we had just hiked up the hill, it was like 100 degrees and she wasnt too amused at having to get out of the A/C

    "Yes!!"
    Reward Mine Down Hill

Then she had to sit and watch me come back up the hill :p
    Reward Mine Uphill

I must have made her walk halfway up the Laurel Lakes trail, but again she was a great sport. Def a keeper! I just kept saying "well you wanted to hike, so hike!" :D

YAY!!! I get my brake fluid flush today!!! :D:thumbsup::woot::yay::yes: I believe my brakes are "back", but don't like the idea of putting that "same" brake fluid under "heat stress" again. I figure since I will, more than very likely, go to Anza, might as well get the brake flush done since I was experiencing brake fade up at the San G trip and it ended up being HOT brake fluid being the cause of the brake fading issues. Thanks to, again, @goblue82 Greg, @Spencer Spencer, @4x4Banger Charlie (the caboose, LOL, next time I'm hanging with you brotha if you don't mind). Hope to see you all in Anza when that trip comes up :fingerscrossed: Anyways, gotta get going as my appointment is at 12 today. L8r peeps!!!
