Interesting idea Mark. I've been seriously considering swapping out for some 4runner seats but have never considered the dash. Other than my hot to cold dial clicking loudly when I turn it the dash doesn't bother me as much as the seats. Looks like a lot of work involved. was it a tough install? Also are the vents larger? Ive never been happy with how much air comes out of mine.

Also what changes did you have to make to get the seats to fit and how happy are you with them.

Nope! I just installed a kit into the stock seats. It was pretty easy and only cost me ~$45 or so I'll take pictures of the wires if you want though

Where did you get your heated seat switches from? Do they support high/low settings? I've been looking for those.

I've seen a lot of people swap the center console for a 4Runner one, is it a simple plug and play? What's the advantage?

I only swap the center console for the E-Brake. I always seem to shred that original cable. Now my cb sits in that position.

I've been looking all over for the stainless steel speedometer but can't find one for my 2001. I believe the 01's have the same speedometer as your '03, right? Where did you get it?

Seen this post. Id like to say im gonna do a complete custom interior. Will be a few months to get done with but I will put some pictures up when I do. Im gonna completely change it by custom molding everything. I have a few drawing of ideas if anybody wants to see them. I like to sketch out ideas before I do them. Im wanting to put 2 racing seats, a trd racing steering wheel all aftermarket gauges to replace the factory one. Kenwood tweeter in the dash, 6x9 speakers in the doors, a cb radio mounted inside the dash on the passenger side and two 10inch kenwood subs with 2 8inch boss subs and kenwoodbradio with back up camera capability, change all heating vents to the modern round vents with chrome and to finish it off with all black carbon fiber with some camo trimings. Also more little things. If someone were to be interested in seeing this after im done just let me know. Or if you want to know more about it
