So the 4Runner just started having a death wobble at anything over 30 mph and breaking. Something tells me it's the wheel spacers, does this seem right? My CVs are pretty blown but I don't see how that would have any effect. My alignment is good too.

Just kidding, looks like I got my wheel weights some how torn off on the inside of one wheel, guessing that's the problem

That could definitely cause it. Don't think it would be the spacers. I haven't had any issues with mine

The spacers came off cause that was my only guess as to what was going on and I had already taken one off before finding out about my wheel weights. Going to keep them off cause I think it'll help with my rubbing anyways. Getting my tires re-balanced tomorrow as well as a new alignment cause I have lifetime alignments. Hopefully that'll solve my problem

I'm debating taking my rear spacers off. I'm rubbing at full flex in the rear. I really need them up front though.

Spacers are off and staying off. Looks weird and skinny. Just drove 22 miles at 60 mph with no shakes which is interesting. Still going to get the tires re-balanced and alignment cause it won't run me but $50 and that's worth the extra precaution to me.

So I'm guessing it's aftermarket wheel set? What made you upgrade? I've been eyeing a set of Industry Nine Enduro's but damn they're a lot and I want to make sure they're worth it.

So they've got 20oz of weight on my wheel to try and get it balanced. Still can't get it to balance. They think I either have a bum tire or wheel. I'm thinking it's the wheel so I'm in the market for a new set of wheels and I'm broke:annoyed:

The stock cannondale wheels were loose bearings. and I would have to adjust after every ride, which got super annoying. I have a 203 or 210mm disc up front so I am guessing that didnt help. I went to Sun Ringle first and destroyed 2 sets of rear pawls and then I upgraded to the Stans. I love them. Only ever had one issue and I was able to fix on the trail. I think that the set of wheels was around $700 with tax and such.
