I retract that post. It was not her. I'm really thinking about this now.
I'll figure it out at some point...... It was a jeep with aux lights on top. Grrrrrrr

Shrug. It's entirely possible that it happened; a lot of the officers on the street doing patrol don't know the rulebook back to front & vice versa like they should, and will pull you over for something that's not actually illegal. :notsure:

Come on man don't read to far into it. That guy is crazy and he doesn't know what he's talking about I call coincidence .All joking aside glad they found her safe. Funny part is when I first heard the new alert I thought the same thing as you. I just figured the called him Dollar because he worked at a bank though.

Just saw this thread pop up on the recent threads list. I live in northern Mass and love getting up to Maine. I have friends in Portland and spent many summer weekends in the Rangely and Millinocket areas.

I have dealt with group guy a few times with parts for my jeep. Seems like a good near by source but not sure he is a sponsor of the forum. Also it's not custom fab stuff just off he shelf parts.

Well, plans are final. I'm headed to see the trains this weekend. I have been trying to get around to it for the past 2 years. The wife and I have been waiting for a weekend that her brother could go all summer. But that hasn't happened so we are just gonna go for it.
My wife is due with our first child the end of November but is still very active and mobile. From what I have read it's a fairly easy hike meaning no huge elevation changes? We hiked moxie bald mtn. In mid September and she was fine with the 6 mile trip and 2600 elevation change.
At least now we can bird hunt on the way in and back!

They are all in the same general area. They are all within 2.5 hrs of each other depending on road condition.
