Feedback on a lift setup?

What do you have your blistein front shocks set at?

 

There set at 2.5 with stock coils, love the ride love the look shoulda bought them the second I bought the truck,

 

Do you have 5100s all the way around and do you have an add a leaf in the rear? If so, which one? If not, what do you have? Cause I've been looking into that setup because it's fairly inexpensive.

 

Not running the 5100's in the rear cause I DO NOT Have an AAL and I thought that these shocks only worked with a lift but I've read there fine and work with a 0-1 inch lift, gotta put those onafter work one day, but the feel of the front suspension of anything got 10x better

But honestly I've had the thought in the back of my mind that my coils that came with these shocks are bad and being set at 2.5 ride height gave them enough preload to ride smooth but I'm not sure either day I love this set up and its worth EVERY PENNY

 

Ive been looking into an AAL but in my mind I want zero lift from the AAL I just want the extra strength to load more weight in the rear not even sure if that's possible, but I'm thinking of a fab tech 1 1/2 inch leaf spring and hopping that I can keep the look of the front end being up higher

 

What is the whole setup you have on ur truck with the wheels and rims? And it's an 2001 ext cab right?

 

2001 Tacoma extra cab 265/75R16 KO2's with WORX rims (the exact name of the rims are escaping me) billsteins 5100's up front stock non TRD shocks in the rear, stock leafs trimmed upper finder flares from running no lift with these tires for 8 thousand miles or so don't got much I'm waiting to buy a pare of UCA's and kings to go mid travel and then I'll start a build thread right now it's just a mall runner

 

Hey guys so on my 01 tacoma prerunner trd i was thinking on getting 5100's all around with stock coils . This is my daily driver on freeway . Looking for a smoothly ride if posible i should be ok with this set up ?

 

I run that set up and I love it I drive freeways 85% of my time and it's hardly noticeable for me, although I bough my shocks used so mine where broken in no idea how many miles where on the coils

 

Alright 3ryoda tnx for the info just got my taco a few months ago with 143 k on it but the front feel loose a bit . So do you know if the rear 5100's would work fine on my prerunner trd ?
