Look Ma, No Braces = Pro Grill installed

My truck finally grew a pair ... today is it's 1 year birthday and we took the braces off and put on a real man grill!

Pretty easy install only took me 1/2 hr and I only broke 2 clips off the new grill insert.








TRD t-shirt from group buy ... had to wear it while installing the grill



LED headlights and fogs... I didn't take a pic of the high beams .. they are real bright!

 

Wow, that sucker does stick out...looks good though.

Why did they not make it flush.

 

Where did you purchase the grille from?

 

It does help visually balance out the underbite chin bumper...

 

Would look better if TOYOTA letters were white IMO, BAMF still the better option overall I feel

NP - got it right here from @Despized ... he had a handful and I jumped on it.

Was a pretty easy R&R.. really..

@smitty99 I was thinking about painting the "TACOMA" color matching my MGM .. the color of the letters actually matches the 2 tone (lighter) color grey on the interior and also matches my wheel color...
It's a more old school look I think. I like it a lot, not that I didn't like the big ass braces look with all that chrome... I just don't have a lot of chrome on this truck the way is came stock and I think this looks more appropriate overall.

I can't wait to drive into the dealership for my next service appointment. I might have to "find" an issue and get dealt with sooner.

I have a plate front bumper on order Baja style. I think this is going to be bad ass when that's done.

I love the grill but not liking the pics from the side showing how it sticks out. I still haven't seen a pro or pro grill in person. Perhaps that will change my mind

It's a factory grill, and Toyota wanted to differentiate it from the other model grills. Which they did

 

Agreed, I think they look damn good. Plus I'm biased, as I ordered one last week
