Just picked up (not yet mounted) custom ProTech tool box. Did not want over the bed rail or go below wheel wells. Selected an RV model that stock is 60" long. Had them build it 56" long. Box size is 56"wide X 10 3/4"tall X 20"deep. 20160930_105213.jpg 20160930_105230.jpg

My Dad sold ProTech for years. Good high quality stuff. How are you anchoring the box?

My plan is to use 2 t-nuts in the front tie down rail and bolt from the inside of the box.

You might consider bolting into the side rails as well.

I have and will continue. Once attached to the front rail I will. I would need to make some spacers. The box is about 1/2" short. Also considering how much flex the bed might have. If I attach to the front and side the box would function as a stiffener and might be stressed. Once I attach to the front rail I will see if box feels loose and will jack up each rear corner one at a time and see what kind of flex there is.
