The B&A bike trail between Annapolis and Glen Burnie is paved and fairly flat. The North Central railroad trail is gravel and runs in the Sparks area. Single track trails are open in Loch Raven resorvoir.

Bike/hike trails right? Or are you saying Loch Raven has an OHV trail?

You could start a feeler thread to gauge interest. That would be the best way to actually make it happen

Good luck we've tried several times to get these going again but the guy has a minimum quantity and then interest seems to fade

    The cold.

I have a thing for year round boating (without having to get bundled up).
I also want to live by the beach.

Charleston has the perfect (for us) mix of everything. the area that we want to live in is 10 minutes from the beach, 10 minutes to the river, and 10 minutes to the heart of the city (without traffic for the city). also has plenty of engineering jobs for me, and communications/PR for my wife.

I come from NY MD is better but far from ideal. NC will most likely be my final stop sooner rather than later.

After spending 6 or the last 8 years in states where it's nice and warm year round, I yearn to go back every time fall rolls around.

houses are definitely not cheap in MD. not super expensive, but you definitely get more bang for your buck in the Carolinas, GA and FL.
