FS: 2016 Toyota Tacoma Matte Black and Reflective Black Vinyl Decal Tailgate Inserts

Hey guys, my first post here. Just wanted to show some pics of this product. Everything came out great! I messed up on the "Toyota" emblem of one of the rear door sill protectors so it's a little crooked and bubbly, didn't post that pic. Only thing that's a little off is the "M" on the rear. The bottom right corners of the M are rounded off as shown in the pics. Not as precisely cut as the other letters. Other than that, everything came out perfect!

 

I can definitely see the rounded corners. They shouldn't be like that so I will send you another M if you want.

Anything for the 2nd Gen people?

 

Some have put these on their 2nd gen Tacos. They are you individual letters but you can use masking tape to layout the spacing and alignment on your tailgate.

I also have badge replacement decals that fit on all previous model Tacomas.

 

So replacement decals are fairly identical to original badges but a decal? While I have you dumb question: I would like some kind of small reflective decal for rear window, would it reflect or is it too high if placed at bottom of cab window? thanks

 

Correct, but in the 2016+ font, which is different than the previous versions. I think it might reflect some light being on the bottom of the cab, but not the same as the lower tailgate.

 

Just ordered a black reflective set. First addition I've bought for the truck so far and it just went into production today!

rrentrop, I've seen some domed tailgate insert letters. Aside from liking the appearance I think they might be a little easier to install being thicker. Do you have these available yet? Thanx

 

No, I don't have the ability to make the domed 3D decals.

 

I would go with the black,
this would complement the black on the bumper as well as the rims.

 

You can also get my matte black badge inlays, which complement the look of the Limited wheels (black and chrome) and ties in the matte black tailgate inserts.

 

Can you do "TACOMA" in a smaller font with the reflective decal I have a 2nd Gen and I would like to put it in the left bottom of the tailgate but I also want it to be a little bigger than the factory emblem they put on. Let me know if it's something you can do. Thanks. Just got my Tacoma last week pretty stoked.

 

Check out my door badge set in my eBay store. I think these may fit the bill for you. They are about 13 inches wide and the mountains can be cut off prior to installation if you don't want them.

I'm more of a function over beauty type person, but I ordered a set of these because they look great.

 

Do you have a solution to cover the two horizontal bars on a '17 TRD grille?

 

I removed mine last week to install a different color and they came off with very little effort. I just picked at a corner edge with my fingernail until I could grab the decal with fingers. The pulled off fairly easily with little tearing, but it was a fairly warm day and my Tacoma was parked in the sun. The leftover adhesive was easily removed with Windex.
