I'm about to purchase bilstein 5100 and OME 887 for the front. I need help figuring out what to do for the rear. I don't want to do just an AAL like the 3 leaf progressive but have been thinking of doing a full new leaf spring set up like the deavers that wheelers sells. I known the front setup will get me roughly 3" and the leaf pack says it will get me 1-1.5". Is this sufficient of a setup to get me the desired lift of 3" all Around? Also, I don't haul heavy loads all the time, but on occasion do, so will the leafs also increase my carrying capacity?

    How about dakars?

Capacity is based on more than just the leafpack......but it should handle the rated payload easier.

Confused. You aknowledge rears give you 1-1.5 and then ask if it will give 3" all round? It will give you 1-1.5 rear lift, which when paired with a 3" front will be leveled and no longer have the factory rake.

Yes, sorry that's what I meant. Will that setup be a good pair to accomplish a level lift?

If you are looking to be level than yes. But you also mention you carry heavy loads sometimes, so if you are level and you carry a heavy load you are going to be nose high. The intent of the rake is so that when you are loaded the truck is level. You will also need some UCAs at 3" of lift for the front.
