    Ha! It was really interesting. Wood carving, apple pressing, corn husk dolls, rope making, banjo music... Oh shit! It was kinda creepy...

    The Hoes Down festival was cool. Lots of families camped in the orchards, bluegrass music, Nortenos band, good food and beer... highly recommended for families. Saw a few sportsmobiles, westfalia syncros, and a bunch of RTT's on mildly equipped 4x4's. All the proceeds go to sustainable farming organizations. Bunch of yuppies, hipsters, cowboys, hippies, and farmers. Not sure where I fit in.

    North Bay guys, I have a wedding to go to in Headlsburg at the Barndiva on the 22nd. As of now it's looking to be a solo trip as kids aren't allowed and the 3 month old isn't taking a bottle. So any good places to camp/park the truck for the night near there? If I'm going solo I will definitely be drunk and could care less where I sleep so an air mattress in the bed of my truck will do just fine by me. Plan on taking off first thing in the morning to get back to the family so don't want to spend a bunch on a hotel I won't use.

    The burg is pretty mellow. I used to live there. There's a parking lot behind Barndiva that we left a car in overnight plenty of times.

    Oh and damn your friends must be fuckin ballers. That place is cheddddddaaahhhh to rent out...

    There isn't shit for actual camping in town though. Any public lot is probably pretty safe, I even think the main square is fine for parking overnight. Might look kinda shady sneaking into the back of your rig...

    Also check the lot just west of Bear Republic. One block W of the square.
