Not an option for West Coast. Southeast gets a lot more options from the factory/port.

I ordered this option also. From what I have read on here, us folks under SET are the only ones getting this as a port option.

Well how about that. An actual benefit of living within the SET monopoly. Who'd have guessed.

No kidding. I hated dealing with SET on my first Taco but they have been a lot better on this one. When I was shopping, I went way out of state and shopped the midwest but there was no real advantage.

I'm actually not sure to be honest. I don't think so as there is a bolt on the front right section you would remove to take the whole thing off, but I've never tried to be honest. My truck is currently at a fabrication shop, but when it's back I'll give it a go

So far so good. I managed to bend one of my running boards and dent the bottom pannel of the passenger side door on some trails, hence why it's in the shop getting some rock rails, but other than that it's been great hahaha.

Have the OEM cover. It is a well made cover, no leaks, solid but quite heavy. Front panel does not open. I preferred the rollup cover on my last truck over this type due to ease of use, to haul you have to take the thing completely off everytime and its gotta be an awkward 60 pounds to remove.

I've made up my mind with the t-cover. I am not going with the factory because of the access limitations. I am going to order a G4 Elite Fold-a-Cover for my bed. I can access it from both ends easily without having to open the tailgate. I also found out that the other brands that have pull cords (to unlatch the panels) are easily broken into. I am also going to decline the remote starter which they offered to thrown in to seal the deal. Seems like Compustar is cheaper and has more functionality.

Great choice. I've had my G4 for a few months; I didn't see a better choice for functionality and ease-of-use. They don't make a caddy for the front part of the bed like they make for the Tundra so, use the bed divider. Enjoy!

Installation instructions are not as clear as lead to be. The QR code on the install instructions is a video is of a Silverado. However, it wasn't too difficult. It took me about three hours.
My leak is only at the driver's front, which is where I didn't extend the tape seal to the end. And although we've had a lot of rain, it's not been a major problem for me.

My only concern with the factory cover is if it's going to fade and turn grey over time like the rest of the textured Toyota clladdings etc.

    303 will help that issue.

I had no desire for a tonneau cover on my truck, but it was equipped with one from the factory and it didn't make sense to remove it since the rails aren't finished like the non-tonneau trucks are. I learned to like it pretty quick as it gave me the ability to throw something in the bed and not have to worry about weather and/or prying eyes. It will also stop people in parking lots from using my bed as a trash can (that drives me NUTS).

The Toyota one is pretty decent best I can tell. I wish it had a way to stand up against the cab rather than blocking the front 1/3 of an already short bed, but it's reasonably easy to remove and reinstall with 2 people. I like that if I have any issues with it, it will be covered under the 3/36.

I have the Extang Encore. It's a lockable trifold that opens from the front or back. Fit and finish is great. Also added a Bed Rug at the same time.image.jpgimage.jpg
