Having some trouble tuning this thing right. I followed the o2 guide on aems yt channel and was able to tune closed loop fairly well however anytime I go into boost or high load (13+ MAP) the afr goes very lean, up to 17:1. I keep adding fuel to the map and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Under my fuel map settings it is set to use MAF and I don't have the option to use MAP. I haven't made any changes to the MAF configuration so I think my problem is stemming here.

I briefly looked over my fuel trims when the problem was occurring, ST are -10 to -20 and LT go to -40 to -50. It seems really strange to me that it goes so lean because I have my closed loop afr dropping to like 12 in the transitory boost phase. I think this issue might be when transitioning from closed loop to open but I don't know where to start.

I looking into setting up the MAF clamp but it apparently needs a baseline reading while N/A which I don't have.

Truck is a 2000 4x4 mt with a narrowband o2. Upgraded to a 320 lph pump and 650cc injectors. Trying to get a baseline tune at 7 psi. Thanks!

Can the AEM tie into your wideband gauge? Have you tried yet to contact AEM?

It can but I haven't connected it. I have an aux gauge for the wideband, will connecting it do anything more than letting me read the afr from the AEM software? Haven't contacted AEM.

I also have my FPR connected to manifold pressure. Do you think this is causing issues because I have the larger pump?

Having the sensor in the FI6 with aid with the tuning for sure. You would then be able to datalog your fuel ratios, as one point.

The FPR attached manifold pressure will increase fuel in boost. Which is not a problem. Unless the pump cannot handle the increased pressure. Which pump do you have?

Pump is good. All in the tuning at this point. One of the different maps perhaps? I am not familiar with the layout.

Check this thread over at T4R.... MTD started the FI6 thread here as well as this but this one has more activity.

I just converted my rig from the Supra TT MAF to a new style stock MAF as part of my switching over to the FI6 from the Split Sec FTC. Hope to have it switched
within the month. It will be really nice to be able to tune on the fly and switch maps with a switch!:dancingbacon:

Thanks for that link, I was referencing the TW one which like you said has a lot less activity. Question, Do you recall which pin/wire you used for the ignition switch into the fic? I used the same wire I have both my afr and methanol gauges hooked into and it works for both of them but for the fic it doesn't seem to be working and the fic will only run if my computer is hooked to it. In that guide you linked he uses a "+B" wire which according to my research is a constant 12v feed directly from the battery? There is also a "batt" wire which is the same thing.

I have not installed it yet. I will look into it.

Switched it to the +B and we're getting 12v now.
