that's pretty much what I did, but started from Big Bear Discovery Center. It was fun so much history and my kid had a blast.

We're going to be checking out the other trails off of 2N02 this saturday. All of my offroading has been in the lower desert and Ocotillo Wells so am really excited about Big Bear. That's good to hear about your kid having a blast, we've been taking my newphew with us and hes now really getting into dirt bikes.

any ghost towns or old abandoned landmarks that require some dirt roads to get there? I like offroading with a destination at the end. Hoping to visit Death Valley and Joshua tree once the weather is a bit more mild. Also Anza Barrego

Gold fever trail was pretty cool. We went up to big bear a couple of weeks ago and did that.

El Paso Mountains. Start on the 14 side and end near Garlock. The small rocky parts are all downhill going that way. Do you have fb? Join this group and I can share the post I made about it.

Just looking for something I can drive through with the girlfriend. If someone else wants to join, I could leave the girlfriend at home and follow, to familiarize myself with the trail(s)

Im really just looking to explore and see what my truck is capable of.

went up to big bear this morning from the radford truck trail. Some amazing views up there and we made it to Sugar Loaf before we turned back. It was where the Bear Mountain Ski Lifts reach the top of the mountain. It was a rough trail with a lot of small rocks and somewhat rutted. High clearance and good tires required. 2wd friendly when dry. I could've kept going onto skyline drive trail but we wanted to get back to camp
