I decided to FINALLY make a build thread on here after stalking the site for over 8 years now (since I was 15!) Im gunna make this quick and will continue to update as my schedule allows, for now I will upload some pics and make a very short description of both my first tacoma and the new and improved one I now currently own. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have but I am not on here all that often. Smiley52 on here is a great friend of mine and may chime in from time to time, so he may be able to answer some of your questions. haha ENJOY!

Feel free to follow me on instagram as well, let me know if youre in the area so we can meet up!- Thoover43

(Disclaimer: I have always done ALL work myself. I am now a Master certified dealership mechanic and have been blessed to always have bosses that allowed me to take full advantage of shop equipment and a paycheck to satisfy my addiction to my vehicles. I may be young at 25 but mommy and daddy don't pay for ANY of this, and I take a lot of pride in that. It sickens me to see 18 year olds with $60k trucks running around claiming its theirs when the title clearly says Daddy.)

My first truck was a 2005 Tacoma Access Cab 4.0L 2WD 6MT in Impulse Red Pearl. I cant stand chrome so the first thing I did was black out the wheels, colormatch the rear bumper, grill, and debadge it. As a 16 year old who knew nothing about trucks, cars, or motors (yet) this was my toy to help me learn and grow in the process. And boy did I learn!! I replaced the alternator, rebuilt the transmission, replaced the heater core, replaced coils, manifolds, and all sorts of other small things. Here's a short list of what I did to it over the 7 years I had it.

    -K&N CAI
    -DTLT headers
    -Catless y-pipe
    -Magnaflow exhaust
    -URD short shifter
    -33in falken AT's
-blacked out the 16" Enkei's it came with
    -Bilstein 5100s up front
-Add a leafs and ranchos out back
    -BHLM
    -colormatch bumper, grille, and debadge
    -Extang Revolution Tonneau
    -many other small things

After trading it in on a 13 Tundra, which I definitely regret!, and then selling the tundra 6 months later, I now own a 2011 DCLB 4X4 4.0L 5AT Tacoma in Barcelona Red Metallic!
I searched long and hard for months for this thing. When I finally found it, I had to drive 8 hrs from Nashville, TN down to the Florida panhandle to get it! But boy was it worth it! The day I bought it, it already had: 18" ballistic jester wheels, 33in Nitto Mud grapplers, camo covered interior, a tool box, and a 2in spacer lift. Well, its been through 4 sets of tires, 3 sets of wheels, 2 accidents, and Ive only had it a year and a half, but here is a quick rundown of what Ive done to her so far (with pics!)

-3in Toytec Bilstein 5100 lift with Eibach/Toytec coils and add a leafs (bilsteins at full lift)
-6in Procomp stage 1 lift kit (stacked for 8 or so inches of lift in front, 6 in rear)
-Powdercoated all suspension pieces to match
    -SPC upper control arms
    -35x12.50x20 Fuel MT tires
    -20x12 -44 Fuel Octane rims
    -NFAB side steps
    -Waterport auxilary water tank
    -BHLM
    -DDM Tuning 5500K HIDS
    -15% Tint all around
-colormatched grill (with a twist), door handles, tailgate handle, mirrors, bumper, and tag light pieces, T-REX angry eyelids
    -custom TRD Surf Edition decals
-LED interior dome, map, and tag bulbs from Matt Gecko
-Waterproof bed LED lights purchased on here
-Groupon front and rear seat covers
-weathertech floor mats (looking to purchase a black rear one if someone is selling one!)
    -Magnaflow muffler with turndown
    -Blacked out LED tail lights

Looking to trade my 20x12 Octanes and 35in Fuel MT's for some 22x12 or 14 Rims and 35in tires. My rims have ZERO curb rash and my tires are almost brand new with less than 5k miles on them. Let me know if someone wants to trade or buy them.

Thanks man! Actually considering selling it. I'll probably post it up later tonight in the for sale section

It's really funny that you two would say this literally an hour or so after he told me he was thinking about selling it. Everybody chime in! Tell him not to sell! lol
