Check rear axle bearings too. I had one go bad on a Jeep years ago. The brakes kept the wheel from moving around a lot, and the bearing wasn't "sloppy loose" yet, so it was hard to diagnose. Had to pull the drums before it became obvious. Is the knock related to wheel speed or does it seem much faster? (ie knocking with wheel rotation or drive shaft speed)

 

Seems to correlate with wheel speed.

on the real, you gonna get some of that door trim from the autozone to put around the edges of the flares? I did and it makes it look that much more complete.

I have gotten the welder out from under the tarp and all the tools set out to start practicing my vertical and overhead horizontals for the relocation mounts and the bumper should arrive NLT wednesday (but then I still need to get it p-coated before install)

if anyone can bring an SWR meter or whatever its called to tune a cb that'd be appreciated. I bit the bullet and got the cobra 75whatever. May need to fine tune the antenna since its a new set up.

Invest in a welding jacket and head bonnet. That will keep the splatter and drops off of you. It helps.

 

speaking of welding... Finally got around to welding up my newish spindle not to bad for a rush job lol
