Hello all. Can anyone chime in with wheel fitment specs. I was looking to put on
16" TOYOTA TACOMA FACTORY OEM STEEL WHEELS RIMS 2005-2015. Will these fit an 03 Tacoma? From some research I have done, I believe the offset for my 03 is 15mm. The 2012 rims I found are 30mm. Not sure if the center bore is different. Will these 2012 steelies fit? I am running 2nd gen rims right now. Thanks in advance for any info

center bore should be no issue... depending on the size tires, the backspace can be an issue, but a lot of folks have managed to fit them...

1st gen stock backspace is 4.5"... ideal for bigger tires would be 4.25" to 3.75"

05+ stock backspace is like 5", so they will tuck in a little bit... with bigger tires, you may encounter the tire rubbing on the frame at full turn, especially when suspension is articulated like going up driveways... might encounter some rub on the body at the pinch weld area as well, but it only impacts the front of the truck... rear should be fine...

That makes sense. I currently have 2nd Gen alloys (came with truck) and rub on my frame a bit when fully turned and compressed. Never noticed any body rub though. Would wheel spacers alleviate that frame rub? Thanks for the info

yep... wheel spacers would help in that scenario...
