I used to wave when I first got up here and about 1/4 waved back, the rest either ignored me or gave me a weird look. Now I just pull up next to them and see if I recognize them or if they are staring at my truck. If they aren't old people or women, chances are the Kings caught their eye.

 

I am! Miss that thing. Had a 65' ($950) in high school and got the 72' ($2,300) about 10 years ago. sold the 72' about 5 years ago.

For a brief moment I had a Montero too.

I actually regret selling that one the most. It was a 5-speed with stock 4.6:1 gears and 33x9.5 BFG AT's. Super reliable, V-6, and about 20 - 22 mpg's. Planned to turn it into a prototype popup camper, then sell it to fund an FJ60 popup build.

Damn Tacoma derailed my plans...

 

Hah, There's no way shittybilt and TransAmerica off the shelf parts put him at 95k. I sold that garbage at 4WP for a couple months right out of school. This guys is way too into himself. I feel bad for whoever buys it.
