    Hello everyone

Please take a look at this crack near the upper shock mount. Does anyone know if a body shop/ fabrication shop/ or welder will be able to patch this up? I really need this truck for work and can't afford to look for a new vehicle. The shock mount behind the frame is pretty much disintegrated as well.

Also, this is a dumb question but will I be able to drive like this for another 500 miles (flat smooth road)? I have to travel for work this weekend and I would not be reimbursed for a rental car if I needed one. But common sense is strongly suggesting to leave this in a shop until it is fixed. I don't want to endanger others on the road.

    Please share your thoughts.

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Anything can be fixed it just depends what the rest looks like.

If your lucky you might find someone that knows Toyota 4x4 vehicles

I can understand the 12 plus hour days 7 days a week it is hard to keep up with vehicle maintenance .

I see Tacoma`s with much more frame rust being used every day the bed filled with all kinds of work equipment
