Im looking into getting 265/70/17's for my truck, but I don't want to get a lower offset for my wheels in order to get a bigger stance. Due to this, im looking to get a leveling/lift kit for my truck. Its a 4x4 with only 40k miles. I was looking at the rough country 3" lift, the bilstein 5100 shocks front and back, or just doing the rough country 2" leveling kit... Im not sure what to do, but im not looking into spending anything more than 400-500 bucks. If you guys could please give me suggestions on what I should get between these, or even another kit it would be greatly appreciated....

You won't need a lift to clear that tire size, that's what I have and no lift.

Yeah im aware that I dont need a lift to clear that tire. But I want to get aftermarket wheels, and I want to get a lower offset in order to get more stance. In order to do this without rubbing against the fender I need a lift, thats why.

For that budget 5100's is your best option with the stock coils and an AAL. Your tires will look too small with a full 3"s. Stay around 2-1/2" and you'll be fine.

If you want to run 32s your best bet is my setup:

Poor Man's TRD Pro: TSB leafs, rear 5100s, front 5100s set on 0" with OME883x coils with Headstrong Offroad driver's side spacer, 1k SumoSprings, ubolts, and hardware. Cooper ST Maxx in LT265/70R17 E on 17x8 FN Konig Six Shooters in Gunmetal Grey

If your suspension budget is only $400-$500, I would go with the Bilstein front and rear and maybe an AAL.

I would also change the Thread title because you don't need a lift kit to fit a 265/70/17

Someone answered your question and the real reason seems to be about wheels and not fitting a 265/70/17 tire
