Didn't know that. Did the laws change in the last few years? Previously I thought the only two states that didn't require CCW permits were Vermont and Alaska.

 

AZ doesn't require one as of a couple years ago.

I absolutely can't relate to this at all. When I was a kid my father stressed that we should never get into a condition where we couldn't defend ourselves and I've lived with that mentality throughout my life. I have no sympathy for people that put themselves into these situations and think that it's ridiculous that society panders to them constantly.

 

Add Arkansas to that list. Open carry only though, according to our AG. Although I don't see any differentiation in the law.

If they won't help themselves then fuck em! Where I work I see these shitholes daily. Not fun. I had to take a sword from a crank head one day as businesses around me (including a daycare/gymnastics place)ran for the doors and locked up. He was out yelling at an imaginary friend swinging a fucking sword around. I was so fucking pissed I went out the door and started yelling at him and we met in the middle of the street. I went out grabbed the fuckin sword form him and cops showed up. The cop said "we deal with guy on the daily" I told him he's around here all the time yelling at ghosts. Tired of this shit.

Yeah, we were a shall-issue state for permits previously, and we voted the permit requirement out last year. I still renewed mine, though, because there are some additional privileges that go with having one.
