NEVER DRIVEN IN WINTER, by me or any other prior owner. That being said the frame is SPOTLESS and still has factory frame paint on much of it probably the cleanest midwest frame you're going to find on a 1989 pickup. The SR5 chrome fenderwell trim (dirt/water holders), which i removed, was hiding some rust on the lips of the fenders and there are some rust holes in the bed where the tires throw rocks. the driver's door and front fender were replaced by the previous owner who backed into a tree with the drivers door open, I've had zero issues with it. The interior is in beautiful shape for the year, the fully adjustable seats are not torn at all.
New heavy duty rear leaf springs, new rugged ridge locking front hubs, the truck was repainted at some point but is all scratched up. front hubs/bearings repacked earlier this summer. Timing belt replaced around 130K miles rear axels seals/bearings redone about the same time.
as of this moment the front ring and pinion has some broken teeth which were like that when i bought it, the 4WD works but i wouldn't go driving down the road at 60 mph with it engaged.
This is my hunting truck that i've owned for 2 years now and I LOVE it, it gets used like a toyota pickup should get used, but i maintain it the way it should get maintained with regular oil changes, grease, ect.
sooooo price is OBO but i'm probably not going to move very much on it as I really do NOT want or need to sell it. I'm just looking to finance some upgrades to my 2016 tacoma. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks for looking.
