    I can't decide on tires..................analysis paralysis....

I have an 09 Tacoma 4 door and need new tires. I live out in the sticks off a half mile long dirt driveway and we get our share of snow and ice, but I work 45 minutes away with approximately 30 minutes of highway driving...

I need a tire that will ride (not noisy) but can handle the snow/ice/rain and the idiot RI drivers.....when conditions aren't good....

I'm thinking one of these but am open to other suggestions...

Those in a similar situation, what tires have you settled on?

    Thanks

    Steve

If you are willing to spend the money go with the Michelins. And look at the MS2's from Michelin as well.

    I have had ...
    Bridgestone HT (sucked)
BF Goodrich AT KO (sucked a little less)
Bridgestone Revo 2's (were good for about. 25k miles, then sucked but not as bad as previous 2)
I now have Hankook dynapro AT RF10 and these are the best yet other than being a little loud, I've only put about 10k on them though

Next tire on my next truck which will likely be a tundra crew max will be Michelin MS2 or AT

I had the LTX A/T 2's. I live in MN, so winter performance is important.

I was not impressed. The tread pattern works for heavy snow, but the compound was too hard in cold temps to grip any hard pack or ice. And it only got worse as the tires aged. Michelins last forever due to hard compounds.

I switched to General Grabber AT2's. Only had them on for 1 winter and they were a big improvement over the Michelins (at least when brand new).

I just installed some Wild Peaks At3 recently. They look amazing and handle the road quite well. No one really knows how these perform in the snow as they have just came out earlier in the year. From the looks of them they should have no problem, not to mention they do have the snow/mountain rating.
