Hi Guys, I am new here, I currently own a tacoma 2017. The first light rain in the city and I noticed my seat belt was WET, not humid, but totally wet. This happened for two days straight until I got upset and sent the truck to the dealer. They told me the leakage came from the back stop light from the roof and ran all the way to the seatbelt and the dealer placed a sealant.

Do you guys have had a problem like this? Is this a complete solution? I am pretty upset since this problem ocurred 4 days after I got if from the dealer and waited 7 months for the truck to arrive, apparently you guys (US) are receiving most of the trucks.

BTW.. No I did not left any window open.

    Thanks and regards from Mexico.

    Hello CGT of Mexico! Welcome!

Sorry to hear about your leaking Taco. I have a Mexican built Taco with a sunroof. I'm not having any leakage issues from the sunroof or top mount brake light after 3 washes already. If you have a sunroof, maybe have the dealer check that also. There was a thread or threads about some people having water leaks, but mostly through the sunroof because there's some alignment or set up procedure during pre-delivery inspection that was not properly done when the vehicles come of the transporters.
