2001 Black Tacoma Prerunner TRD

Greetings from St. Mary's County, Maryland. Just signed up. Have owned Toyota's 4ever. Bought a used 2001 Pre-Runner TRD - crew cab March 07. OD Just turned 100k. Awesome vehicle. Great forum - found it when I searched for how to replace valve covers on my V-6 - had it in for normal servicing today @ the local Toyota dealer they quoted $935 to replace valve cover gaskets, spark plugs and related gaskets. Wow! I declined. Will try to tighten covers - then try another shop for another price. Thanks to "TRD 2001 4x4's post - valve cover gasket replacement 3.4 V6 tips". Very informative. Cheers.
