bucket seats

I just got a pair of 98 4runner buckets I am going to put into my 96 Tacoma video will be uploaded soon of the install if anyone is interested

Yes replacement of the bench seat as well doing the carpet also

 

Looking forward to seeing the write up. I was running around trying to find some 99-02 4runner seats today. Does nyone know if its only the sr5's that have the dial on the side for the lumbar?

 

The first test fit of the 98 4runner seats now for the drivers side
you do have to do a little grinding the right front seat mount of the 4runner seat it has 2 little pits that stick out and then you are good
I am painting the covers that cover the seats mechanism

 

Did this in my 07 regular cab was the best modification I ever did

 

I just installed RSX type S buckets into mine, that came out of a 4Runner also. 3 legs fit. That damn fourth leg tho...

 

Yeah I had to drill for the rear 4th bolt hole
but it came out okay

 

Just did this same install yesterday with leather 4runner buckets and limited 2wd console. 4th hole I just plugged the original with the bolt and drilled a new hole and used a washer and nut in the appropriate location. Seats are ugly and need new covers. Its awesome to see others doing this same type of swap! Your door cards/panels look really clean, good work!

Thanks man. I am pretty sure it was a 2001 2wd. I haven't figured out what to do about the e brake slit yet but I'm loving 2 extra cupholders!
