    2014 TACO 5LUG LOCKED
I recently put a lift on my truck and got bigger tires. Readylift 5Lug lift and went from Street 215/70/15 to A/T 32/11.5/15. It does fine city driving, but I've notice it struggling on the freeway. It'll rev high/drop a gear on slight inclines.

Currently stock geared at 3.83, I would like to change it to 4.10 or 4.56. I'm an novice when it comes to mechanical work, so I've read that it's recommended to have a shop do it.

Before I buy the parts need, I would like to verify that I'm picking up the proper parts.

It's a 2014 2wd 4cyl Tacoma. So I would need an 8.4 rear gear as well as a master install. Thinking about picking up a locker while I'm at it. Am I able to put a locker on a stock differential?

If anyone can verify that these are the correct parts or any other sources with better/cheaper prices, it would be very much appreciated.

Didn't notice how different forums had different group sizes. I'ma report this to get it deleted and repost in Gen 2.

Talk to Arizona differential specialists up in Phoenix. Super nice people, will discuss options and are straight shooters. I've had them do 3 vehicles and no problems at all. Warranty, etc. And letzroll does nice work. But they were about 2 grand higher when I talked to them about doing some axle work for me.....

But look up zuk. He is the Toyota master here in az.

I find it hard to believe letzroll was more expensive. They did a SAS on my 1st gen and their price quotes were significantly lower than everybody else...unless you were asking them to build you a super bling custom axle:confused:

And yes... ZUK is the man for Toyota axles.

ZUK is really the guy to build Toyota axles. I do not think there's anybody anywhere else in the country has built as many Toyota axles as he has. We are talking here about years and years of experience. Really cool guy too!
