Help! I'm in middle of install and have extra connector

    Unlikely that it is supposed to remain free. Did you try powering it up and testing to see what works and what doesn't? I used the same aswc-1 and ended up with an extra connector on my 2015 non-JBL. Haven't solved it yet, but it was a large white one from the vehicle harness and the deck has power, security light flashes, but will not turn on. I think the adapter kit is incorrect.

    Called crutchfield support yesterday. They said it should be fine leaving it unplugged so I gave it a shot. Everything seems to be working fine.
    I am surprised this has not come up on here more. Kind of weird having that extra connection not being used.
