Hey I just got a bunch of parts for a 4WD conversion, among which are a front diff. The diff says it's an ADD but it came with manual hubs. Also, it's off a 2004 and isn't the clamshell. The dude I bought it from said the actuator for it is set to stay in "locked" so my question is will the add tube work with manual axles? I have one manual axle that when inserted isn't "flush" with the diff, so it's making me thing I need a different set of axles or a different tube

ADD axles are different from manual hub axles.

yea, thats a add front clamshel setup that looks like somebody converted to manual hubs. if you are doing the 4x4 conversion, are you using a j style tcase or push button?
if j style get the non add front

I would use j shift t case. I thought I read that te clamshell differentials had the actuator in the front of the diff, this actuator is in the rear. He said the actuator on the diff was permanently set to "locked" so it is basically a manual now.

Ok so I figured it out. I started to notice that the c clip on the diff side of the axle was too spread apart so I popped it off and the axle slid in perfect on both sides.
