    Anyone see this....

Im interested in buying one but hesitant knowing this unless Bak has implemented a fix.

the Revolver X2 is not nearly that loose. that being said, if someone really wants to break into it and knows the unlocking mechanism, they're going to get in. but then again, i think the same can be said about any tonneau cover, or your doors for that matter.

Greetings fellow Taco lovers. I'm interested in getting the X2 for myself. I wanted to check in with anyone who currently has the Revolver X2 and see how well the vinyl is holding up and if anyone is having any issues overall? Any cracking on the vinyl? Are you regularly treating the vinly with any protectant? Any other components failing?

My mistake. Misread 2nd generation as 3rd in my mind.

Is the difference in truck bed that different from 2nd gen to 3rd that this wouldn't fit on a 2015? I was looking at the specs from Toyota and it's less than 1/4". I had a bak flip on my 08 but this revolver looks pretty slick. Anyone with one that has some input would be appreciated.

There are 63 pages of discussion of the Bak Revolver X2 on the Ford F150 forums, but very little discussion here. I believe the Revolver X2 is the same price as the BakFLIP MX4. I am leaning to the Revolver, but wish there were some Tacoma owner reviews. My only real concern is whether it is more prone to freezing shut in winter, versus a trifold (live in Canada).

it freezes shut for sure, sometimes even with a mild frost. I can't speak to any comparison with a trifold, but definitely something you gotta be thinking ahead for either way I would imagine.

Located in Canada. Just ordered a Bak Revolver X2 for a 2017 DCSB Off Road. Did not make sense to try and join in on the Group Buy, due to additional freight, taxes, and foreign exchange. Hopefully I made the right decision. Was between Revolver X2 and Bak MX4 Trifold.
