Never delt with the 2stroke led but heres the piaa. Controllers were small, kit was easy and includes built in cooling fans in a package small enough it does fit without bending anything. 20161010_100655.jpgPass side installed. Not much clearance but it did drop in.

    Drivers side is cozy also

And drivers side ballast just got taped down to an open spot. Will make a couple brackets to hold ballasts when i upgrade to hid and move these to high beams

Are you running the PIAA H11 #17202 LED kit?
Appears this bulb fits in the low beam socket?
What do you like or unlike about this expensive kit?
    Thanks!

I like the quality, design and size. The color looks amazing for viewing. The color also makes it appear a bit dimmer in twilight since yellower light closer to halogen is more visible. Once fully dark they are more than "bright" enough. I eventually plan on doing hids for low beam and move these to high beams

What hids are you looking at for the low beams?
I have the PIAA H11 4K white in the fogs now.
We don't get much fog in the desert.
    Thanks!

Want to do proper retrofit when i get the courage to open the headlights. Ill paint then too. I stuck with just piaa yellow halogen fogs because they work great to take the glare out of driving in snow

You have a second gen. Don't do it, I ran OPT7s in my 2014 and light was scattered everywhere except the road. I'd drive by 2 story houses lighting up their roofs.

Get a proper retrofit for your headlights, other drivers will thank you.
