I did a few search but couldn't find the answer I needed.

So, I got my SR5 4x4 taco for a week and happy with it so far; other than some minor imperfections :) It came with Firestone Destination 245/75/16 tires.

I want to swap out the wheels/tires for OEM Sport or OR just for the look. But I don't want to spend crazy money for new set of TRD wheels and/or OR tires. I don't do offroad driving, but I live in Seattle. Winter is coming and snowy almost every year.

My local toyota dealership is selling the Sport and OR "takeoff wheels and tires" for $675 per set of four.

    Question:
OEM OR wheels and tires (Goodyear) vs OEM sport wheels and tires (Toyo); which set will work better in my situation and on my SR5 truck?

    Thank you.

Is the $675 wheels and tires, with TPMS? It's not a terrible price for what it is. Keep an eye on your local CL as well as they have a tendency to pop up.

I'd be tempted to put snow tires on your SR5 alloys, sell the Firestones since they have super low mileage and then pick up a set of take off TRD OR wheels if you like the look. That way the TRD wheels won't get mucked up in the salt.

No TMPS and no warranty, but I like the OEM TRD OR wheels. I think it looks good.
I heard good reviews about the OEM Goodyear Wrangler tires too.
I think I can get at least $500 back if I sell my SR5 wheels/tires without TMPS.

I think you're better off searching a local CG for listings OP.
I see plenty of folks in my city posted their wheels + tires.
There are plenty of Sport and Off-road owners who'd like to sell their wheels for an upgrade.
Hell, if you were in my city (San Diego), I'd sell you mine in a heart beat.

Yeah .. check C-list... if you were closer I'd sell you my sport wheels with >500 miles on them WITH sensors. The sensors from Toyota aren't cheap after market sensors work fine and are 1/2 the price.

Not to be a dick but I think the wheels in your first post look pretty good to me. I'd just get a set of WAY better tires. Nitto Grappler G2s 265/70/16 or 17 ... yer covered in the ice, snow, mud, sand, gravel with snow... rocks with snow, and of course rocks with bigger rocks!

Anything that came stock tire wise on these trucks .... I was scared driving in rain!
