I see the point in them but man sometimes they are just tedious!

The ones this semester are easier then last semester though.

I absolutely love my career, pay and benefits. Actually anesthesia is one of the safest practices and it is reflected in our malpractice insurance. I live very very comfortably and suffer with 11 weeks vacation as well as benefits (health, dental, life, and malpractice insurance), a lucrative retirement package...LOL...It is a career path that I highly encourage someone to consider...

CRNA It's on my short list if I get tired of bedside nursing in 5-7 years or start having a family and want more money.

I'd highly recommend you consider doing as much schooling as possible BEFORE you start a family. I waited and 4 years went by too fast. Especially crna stuff, that's no joke and would be twice as difficult while dealing with kids and their needs and activities.

I am 99.99% sure I'll still be single in 4 years. The family thing would be nice but apparently I'm not what women are looking for and I don't swing the other way.

But I know what you're saying.

Yep, I feel your pain especially when I come off of a three week vacation out of twelve...lol. Just kidding...about the pain...floor nursing was one of the hardest things I have ever done. And ER nurses have my utmost respect. If I don't like someone, I just push the propofol faster...

Anybody have a good side gig? Some coworkers have mentioned working for a company like zoll and doing four hr in services in places for significant chunks of change. Curious if you guys have any experience with this, best way to go about it, etc.

    Also, how's the new job @FoleySwampPlotts ?

Graduated 12 days ago, now I'm studying for the NCLEX. This Kaplan prep thing we have is pretty sweet, but these practice tests can be a drag. Hoping to get some interviews here pretty soon. I'd like to have something lined before I pass the NCLEX

Much appreciated!! Thanks for the heads up. I plan to stay in SC, though. I hope the shortage isn't causing you and your family too much stress.

Finally started training on flight today. No patient flights yet due to weather but I did get a training flight in and it was fucking awesome! Waited a long time for this.

Taking the NCLEX tomorrow guys... Let's just hope for my sanity that I do not get all 265 questions or have to use all 6 hours of my available time lol
