I have a G4 Elite also, having switched to that from an Undercover Flex because it didn't lock and I wasn't satisfied with the fitment.

It rides atop the bed rails and the convenience of having an opening panel in the front has the side effect that the whole cover doesn't fold up and flip out of the way if I need full-bed access (there's one panel-width of the bed still covered) but I can remove the panels completely when needed. It fits my (mostly urban commuter) use cases, locks, and the engineering and fitment is top notch.

I have the undercover in black. Very happy with this. I do not haul anything tall. But the nice thing if I do this is easy to remove and only weighs about 50 or 60 lbs.

    Hi Guys,

I have a BAkflip G2 and love it. I've only had it for a couple months and the rubber near the cab is starting to peel up. Looks like the rubber has a sticky tape - and obviously, it's failing.

I'll be going back to the place that installed it and 'expecting' warranty coverage.

    Just a bit frustrating.....

G4 here as well, as bconrey said it flips forward when you need the bed.

Does your bed divider work well with the g4? Also, where did you purchase your bed divider?

Works great, I just had to mount the knobs facing down so cover clears. I bought mine used on Craigs List - $120.

I have an UnderCover SE and love it.

    Nice double catch lock too.

I would not store your gold bars in the bed, but it's pretty secure.

Photos are not great to look at cover, but all I have now.

Not talking you out of your future purchase. I also have an access tonneau. I installed the pop n lock electric tail gate lock to help secure the bed. Keeps honest people out.

I'm gonna revive this thread, since I'm in the same boat, needing a bed cover. I like the tri fold configurations. I've been looking at the Extang covers. I have a buddy who loves his, but said there is one out there that is hidden and doesn't sit on top of the bed. Anyone know who makes it and if its any good? My truck is a Gen 2 DCSB
