I have two LED pod lights for under and on the side of the skid plate each one comes with a red and black wire. My understanding is that I have to get these to all connect together then tap into a power source and to a switch in the cab. Anyone handy with this want to draw a first time wire guy a diagram of what I should do? I also have four port wanco? I think quick connects that gor sent free with the kit..... thanks

I'm looking for the same info - basically what fuse slot to tap into with an add-a-circuit and what model add-a-circuit to buy. I bought a "plug and play" harness that is turning out to not quite be plug and play since I'd rather get power to the switch from an add-a-circuit and if I had to do it again I would just buy the materials and make my own harness from following one of these diy videos in the post I made in another similar thread:

Hopefully we find out so we can wire our lights up :)

There's a couple things going on here. First, if you are wiring led pods (the same pods everyone is running as ditch lights or in their bumpers as fogs) AND you are planning on wiring a couple of them together on the same circuit/switch then it is highly recommended that you have a relay on that circuit. Perhaps not entire necessary, but definitely recommended. If they are smaller led lights (such as single bulbs or led strips, which have less draw) you could be ok without the relay, But it really depends on what you have. If you can, post up a little more info and we can guide you. Maybe a picture of the lights, and how you want them to run when finished (constant hot/ACC on) and what kind of switch you have for them. All of these things will change how you would wire them up.

The sad part is at first I read this and didn't notice that it was one letter away from "wire" - I was like "alright a cool new way to say that you're mating some wires to a switch and some lights. lol
