Curious to see how many high-mileage 4.0 + autos are out there on the original transmission. When I was researching these Tacomas most of the super high-mileage Tacomas (with 250,000+ miles) seemed to be manuals.
Curious about the long term reliability of my truck. It is only a 2013 with 26,000 miles but I plan on keeping it a long time.

    Thanks

Well only 25k on mine now but my 99 Cherokee has basically the same AISIN trans and I got 315k on it. Does that count?

Just drive it and report back.

It depends a lot on the driver and the use of the vehicle.

A scangaugeII to monitor temps, an auxillary cooler if needed, periodic fluid changes to keep things fresh, and you should be just fine.

Too bad you don't have a dipstick like my little 4 banger does.

I thought the Toyota A340 was the same as the Jeep's AW4? Is the A750E/F the same gearbox with an added 5th gear?
