@can0nfan2379 LOL "...but based on a topographical map of middle earth, solid axles and 37s seem that they would be best"

Totally agree... the only thing I'd add to that, for comfort and ride quality of course, would be 22.5's and make it a dually with soft riding 10 ton military spring stacks. I don't want overloading issues!! I knew I'd get some ideas!!!! Thanks!!! Keep em coming!!! :bananadance:

Yes this is true I also found this little unit heater not available yet but will be ordering it as soon as it come available its supposed to last any where from 3 hours to 8 but its 20,000 btu's so it'll need to be ran on low. I can imagine you getting a lot of questions when you come up to Canada. At the rv show this spring there was only one unit like your but by the looks of yours it wasn't that great. The unit you build looks far more superior. is that a queen size mattress? have you made a thread about it? I am hoping to get out camping next week but its supposed to rain and little leary about how long it will take my tent to dry out before putting it away. lol roof top tent issues lol

So when are you going to turn this into a full time career?

And where did you learn to build trailers like this?

I've seen those heaters before. Really cool just way overkill for our set up... they'd burn you out of the trailer LOL. I heat mine with a 500W heater running off me Honda 1000W Inverter. At 56 DB you don't hear. It runs my heated mattress pad and heater just fine all night long on 1/4 gallon of gas. In my mind you just can't beat that. We camp all year and in temp down you 0 and have no issues staying warm. It's just fun being able to go anytime of the year and sleep warm and cozy. My daughter as gone with me for years ever since she was 2 and we've never had issues sleeping :)

LOL I know what you mean about worrying about getting the tent wet. We've had the wettest October on record and I've been glad to have hard walls.... I will be for the next 7 months too... LOL

I am building another trailer now however that has a RTT on the top of it. I think it's going to be a great addition.

Yah that's another possibility of getting a small gen set. but as of right now my tent isn't high enough to run my annex on it so that little heater is my best bet. Since up here in alberta it can go below -20 in the winter. if I do plan on doing a lot of winter camping i'll probably invest in a huge ground tent with a wood stove in it! I took my tent off for the winter but it'll take a half hr to put it back on if I want too. I wish it only got to zero here cause then there would be no need to heat my tent

I'm working on putting a set up together like yours. I'm in the blueprint stage. Lucky for me I work at a place that used to fabric trailers. Now we just sell and repair trailers. It also helps to have a trailer parts store 50 yards from our store.
