i bought my 96 A few months ago and it had a 2" spacer lift. I'm pulling it off and putting ome shocks and springs on. I've never done this before. I am mechanically inclined and watched some videos that I'm comfortable doing it. I got my old coils/ shocks off and now putting the new on. I can't get the lca low enough to get the bottom of the shock bolts in. I seen you have to loosen the lca bolts for them to drop down more. I can't get the loose. I don't have air tools so it's just a breaker bar. Is there anything out of the ordinary I need to know about? Do I need to loosen from the nut part or the head of the bolt part? I've been trying from the nut part. I don't have a wrench big enough for the bolt head and not enough room for a socket unless I remove the skid plate and the steering rack. Any input is appreciated.

Should be enough with the help of a pry bar.

The lbj method you undo the 4 bolts not the nut.

I got it. I loosen the bolt heads on the lca not the nuts. Took the skid plate off to get to the front one. Just got the drivers side done. Tackle the other side another day. Fortunately I have a company vehicle so the Tacoma and sit on jack stands a couple days. Thanks guys. I should see a huge improvement over the spacer lift.
