2015 Tacoma 2wd 5lug upper control arm issue

    2015 Tacoma 2wd 5 lug
    Installing a 3" leveling kit on the front and can't get the upper control arm back into place to bolt back in.
    Tried jacking the lower arm and it just raises the truck.

    Yeah, I loosened the ball joint and put a tripod under the diff so I wouldn't push my truck off the lift.
    It turned out that one of my alignment bolts was so stripped out that the lower control arm seized.

    Unfortunately, if your's is doing what the above link sounds like, it sucks to have to buy two new LCA's due to Toyota's historic metallurgical fuckup.

    Mine needed the new LCA's route. My truck had also been on the road for four full years in a corrosion-friendly environment, before it came apart for my own lift/level upgrade.
