What kit did you use on the truck? I haven't really had a chance to nose around in the LED/HID arena but I am considering this option instead of a LED Bar from Rigid. I went to a certain off road shop here in Jacksonville Florida and they wanted $1700 to do an install on my truck with a $250 led bar as the centerpiece. (I just laughed and laughed and laughed...)

Put in my rockymounts for the bikes too. I just got two, one for my wife's bike and mine. I'm just planning on strapping our two kids bikes to each of ours. Very sturdy mounts. I like them a lot.

Waiting on my glovebox and sill plate stickers. Thinking about rigging some led's in the scoop and to lightup the TACOMA on my Bamf grill, just as accent lighting.

T-Rex grill with black bezel. Blacked out all the badges and added the Tacoma on the tail gate. The windows have been tinted to the darkest law will allow.
Nice, I did the same thing (rims and calibers) turned out nice.

Do you need a special paint for calipers?

Nice color Dj. Where did you get the color matched paint, and would it work on calipers?

I had it filled locally here at a paint shop. They took the paint code and mixed it up for me.
I am pretty sure you need special paint for calipers, something that would resist very high temps.

I think you are right. I don't think I could get caliper paint in Inferno. I think there is a company that has color matched paint in spray cans, but not sure what company.

Well, yes and no. Rust-Oleum used to make a special red paint called 'Caliper Red' for brake calipers, but they either stop manufacturing it or Home Depot and other carrier's stopped buying it. Home Depot, Rust-Oleum's products main seller, said that product is in-active and discontinued from their inventory when you key in that SKU# (at-least at the store I went to). Technically speaking high temperature red would've been nice for this application, but these caliper's never get that hot. It's not like we're driving a Pagani or Aston Martin. I used a glossy bright red colored can of paint for mine. It's a nice contrast to the all black/charcoal truck. Not sure if I'd fancy red calipers for an already bright red truck though, but that just me. If you are going to paint your calipers, perhaps try gold, silver, bronze, or even black. Any red other than your own trucks body colored red might be off looking IMO.

Thanks! Nice work separating the 4x4. I may have to include that in the instructions.

Rust-Oleum seem to still make the stuff in red, blue, gray, and black: http://www.rustoleum.com/product-catalog/consumer-brands/auto/specialty-paints/caliper-paint/

    Amazon's got you covered: https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-Automotive-257169-Caliper-Kit/dp/B0070S7WVA

Advance Auto Parts and Pep Boys carry Duplicolor brand caliper paint in several colors. Autozone has VHT brand. OReilly carries both brands.

    See my sig for mods

I received my T-Rex grill last night that I bought from CARiD who had the cheapest price, and which was shipped directly from T-Rex, and as soon as I opened up the box and pulled the grill out there is a major bend at one end in the bottom grill bar, and there is a exact shaped slot cut through the side of the box that corresponds exactly to the mounting tab. So it's apparent that the box got rough handled or dropped in transit which cause the damage to the grill. How bad its bent and the fact that the bar and the mounting tab are bent in two different directions I would not even attempt to try and straighten it.

So I've taken pictures of the grill and the shipping box and as soon as CARid opens I'm going to call them and tell them what happened. They have a pretty good return policy, and it looks like they pay the return postage. It's funny that I was reading about all of the broken TRD grills due to lack of proper packaging materials, and when I received the grill the first thing that went through my head was the box is way to small and it probably doesn't have even cushioning material inside the box to protect the grill which it didn't, as all it had was wadded up news prints at each end of the box.

I do have to say that the T-Rex grill are very well made, and it's a shame that all that is lot due to improper packaging.

Sorry to hear you had trouble with your grill being packed.Kinda ridiculous that they can't do proper packaging. I guess that's what you get when you want to pay someone a low minimum wage. And everytime packages product is damaged. Companies raise prices to cover the cost of what gets damaged when shipped. So the consumers lose out.

    None - yet.
I'm too lazy to set mine up like that - so I end up at the car wash vacuuming out a LOT.
